Foam Concrete

During the intensive civil and industrial development in the building construction field, the rational choice of  the materials is an important target. The materials are needed to have a low bulk density, low thermal conductivity and high mechanic resistance.

Foam concrete is actually leading the marked of building materials.

The request of low heat loss materials considerably influenced the huge growth of demand about foam concrete, then low bulk density and high insulating properties add to this material further appreciated qualities.

Foam concrete is obtained by the stirring of mortar and sand mix plus a foam agent, then finally hardened. The technology allowed us to produce foam cement with excellent physical and mechanical characteristics. Foam concrete gives many advantages comparing to traditional building materials:

• high thermal-insulating properties;
• low specific gravity;
• good mechanical characteristics;
• good sound absorbing quality;
• high fire resistance;
• high freezing resistance;
• low index of water absorption

According to the data collected by the Health and Ecology control, the foam concrete can be used for every kind of building. This material has many interesting applications because it can be cut with a saw, it can be easily drilled and it is comfortable for the installation by hand. The porous microstructure of the hardened foam concrete gives a very good adhesion either with internal and external mortar.

The good qualities of the foam concrete blocks are giving the chance to save money during the building process: low weight and big size of the blocks compared to the bricks are making the installation easier and economic.

The accuracy on making a perfect geometry of the blocks allows their quick installation on layers of mortar giving a further economical saving

Our blocks  are used for building and warming

• of load-bearing walls;
• inter-stroreyed overlapping and inside partitions

We produce blocks of different types. Some characteristics of them are representated in table:

We provide blocks of the size the customer needs according to the standard size. We produce and we stock them in pallets that we can deliver directly to the place the customer requires.

Also we make work with applying of pour foam concrete as following:

• warming of roof and garets overlapping;
• heat insulation of floor;
• building walls with casting in retained formwork and in traveling shuttering;
• insulation of blocks with casting in rubble masonry

The price of foam concrete includes the cost of manual labour, cost of materials and expenses for the delivery of the product. Stream (380V) and water are charged to the customer
